GIPSY, Mo. -- Earl Leo Younger, 69, of Gipsy passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at his home.
He was born Dec. 24, 1948, in Bollinger County, Missouri, the son of Elmer and Beulah Fish Younger.
Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in the Vietnam War.
He retired from Asa Asphalt in Advance, Missouri. He also had been a tire repairman, an over-the-road truck driver and worked for Terminal Railroad.
Earl and Ramona Shirrell were united in marriage Oct. 14, 1995, at McGee, Missouri, and she survives of the home.
Survivors include his wife, Ramona Younger of Gipsy; a son, Russell Younger of Burfordville; a daughter, Judi Younger of Oran, Missouri; two stepdaughters, Heather Shirrell of Zalma, Missouri, and April Mayberry of Advance; two brothers, Dewayne Younger of Scott City and Edwin Younger of Advance; two sisters, Beulah Bolin of Cape Girardeau and Sheila Crippen of Dexter, Missouri; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Donna Younger.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with Brother Leeman Shirrell officiating.
