Earl William Stromberg Jr., 49, of Dallas, Tex., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Dec. 22, 1992, at the Veterans Administration (VA) Medical Center in Dallas.
He was born Feb. 7, 1943, in St. Louis, son of Earl William Stromberg Sr. and Dorthea A. Rafferty Stromberg.
Stromberg, was a lab technician at the VA Hospital.
Stromberg, a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau, served in the Army. He was a former member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Survivors include five sisters, Patricia Kleinschmidt of Imperial, Mo., Susan Maxwell of West Plains, Dorthea Sides of Canton, Ohio, Judith Whitford of Columbia, Mo., and Marilyn Melton of Cape Girardeau; and his father, Earl William Stromberg Sr., of Florissant, Mo.
Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, with the Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to service time.
