EARL SANDERS JR.

DELTA -- Earl J. Sanders Jr., 79, of Delta died Friday, Nov. 6, 1998, at his home.

He was born Jan. 5, 1919, at Chaffee, son of Earl John and Anna Mae Redfern Sanders Sr. He and Faye Huey were married Jan. 29, 1946.

Sanders had been a millwright with the Carpenters Union. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Richard, Robert and John Sanders, all of Delta; two daughters, Phyllis Sanders of Cape Girardeau, Sally Sanders of Sikeston; two sisters, Freda McBride of Scott City, Kate Amos of Delta; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dean Heady officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
