Earl Lynn Ring, 63,of Gordonville passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, at his home. He was born Nov. 26, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Richard L. and Joyce E. Abernathy Ring.
Earl grew up in Wolf Lake, Illinois, and was a 1978 graduate of Shawnee High School. He spent many years living and working in the area, later moving to Missouri.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Ring of Wolf Lake; sister, Joy (Robert) Henson of Grand Tower, Illinois; brother, Ricky Ring of Wolf Lake; nieces, nephews and cousin, Pam Abernathy; dear friends, Kelly Russell and Billy Dinkins; a special dog named Taz; along with many other family members who loved him greatly.
Earl was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ring; sister-in-law, Sharon Ring; brother-in-law, Sammy Woodard; nephew Cody Ring; and niece, Kelli Henson.
A celebration of life will be held in Earl’s honor in October. Details will be announced at a later date.
