ADVANCE -- The Rev. Earl Lizenbee, 77, of Advance died Friday at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 2, 1918, in Parma, son of Fred and Ella Hoss Lizenbee. He and Ella Hoss Lizenbee were married Oct. 7, 1940, at New Madrid.
He was a retired contractor and minister and he attended the Full Gospel Tabernacle in Advance.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Junior and John Lizenbee, both of Chaffee, Ray Lizenbee of New Madrid and Rick Lizenbee of Advance; three daughters, Linda Lou Long of Marble Hill and Barbara Neely and Faye Foster, both of Advance; two brothers, Clay Lizenbee of Starke, Ill., and bob Lizenbee of Sweeney, Texas; six sisters, Bee Donica of Cypress, Calif., Velma Allen of Cape Girardeau, Mary Hull of Malden, Helen Robison of Dexter, Louetta Quick of Bloomfield and Betty Curran of Highland, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, granddaughter, brother and sister.
Friends may call from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel. The Rev. J.D. Smith will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
