EAST PRAIRIE -- Earl John Miller, 62, of Aurora, Ill., formerly of East Prairie, died Friday, Feb. 13, 1998, at the Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora.
He was born Sept. 10, 1935, son of Amos L. and Estelle G. Davis Johnson.
He was employed by Aurora Truck Body as a welder.
On Oct. 22, 1971, he married Ora Lee "Angel" Sterling. She survives.
In addition, he is survived by three daughters, Brenda Burton of Montgomery, Ill., Sandy Miller of Bardwell, Ky., and Jeannie Sterling of East Prairie; a brother, Charlie Bone of Bertrand; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
A son and sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Shelby Chapel, with Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Armer Cemetery near Bertrand.
