LILBOURN -- Earl Lee Grissom, 66, of Lilbourn died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 15, 1932, in Delhi, La., son of Fred and Mary Crawford Grissom. He married Dorothy Jackson.
Grissom had lived in Missouri since 1975.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Earl Grissom Jr. of Monroe, La., Stephen Grissom of St. Louis, Ledale, Earl Jr. and Flenoird Grissom, all of Lilbourn; two daughters, Lula Richard of Atlanta, Ga., and Jacquelin Wilson of Lilbourn.
Also surviving are four brothers, Fred Jr. and Lawrence Grissom of Cleveland, Ohio, Levern Grissom of San Francisco, Calif., Joseph Brown of Bastrop, La.; two sisters, Birdie Grissom and Minnie Ross of Monroe, La.; and 12 grandchildren.
Friends may call from 7-8 p.m. Saturday at Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Howardville.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Life, New Beginning, World Outreach Center in Lilbourn. Elder Nathaniel Green Sr. will officiate, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at New Madrid.
