EAST PRAIRIE -- Earl Thomas Givens, 71, of East Prairie died Friday, Dec. 11, 1998, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 22, 1927, at Parma, son of Thomas Jefferson and Strauda V. Tinnell Givens.
He was a retired self-employed salesman, moving from Burbank, Calif., to East Prairie five years ago. He was a World War II veteran in the Army. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors included a daughter, Patricia Zeizman of Eden Prairie, Minn.; a sister, Frances McLain of East Prairie; and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Shelby Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Larry Smith officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Monday.
