MILLERSVILLE -- Earl W. Gilder, 75, of Millersville died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at his home. He was born Sept. 5, 1922, at Delta, son of Herbert and Bertha Overbeck Gilder. He and Betty D. Walker were married July 29, 1947. She died Jan. 14, 1996. Survivors include a son, Wesley Gilder of Marble Hill; three daughters, Ruth Davenport of Marble Hill, Mary and Patsy Gilder of Millersville; and a sister, Elizabeth McMurray of Cape Girardeau...

MILLERSVILLE -- Earl W. Gilder, 75, of Millersville died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997, at his home.

He was born Sept. 5, 1922, at Delta, son of Herbert and Bertha Overbeck Gilder. He and Betty D. Walker were married July 29, 1947. She died Jan. 14, 1996.

Survivors include a son, Wesley Gilder of Marble Hill; three daughters, Ruth Davenport of Marble Hill, Mary and Patsy Gilder of Millersville; and a sister, Elizabeth McMurray of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dottie Fiske officiating. Burial will be in Zion Methodist Cemetery at Gordonville.
