CHARLESTON -- Earl Criss, 78, Charleston Route 1, died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1992, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Aug. 25, 1914, in St. Louis, son of Roy and Prussia King Criss. He and Alberta Leible were married July 15, 1946.
Criss was a barber, retiring in 1979. He was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Criss of Benton, Dennis Criss of Broomfield, Colo.; a daughter, Donna Brandt of Manchester; two sisters, Martha White of Charleston, Ethel Goddard of Miami, Fla., and four grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Henry's Church. The Rev. James Reynolds will officiate, with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
