Earl De Wayne Amelunke, 67, of Jackson died on March 16, 2022, at his home.

He is the son of the late Alvin and Eunice Boatright Amelunke.

He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jackson. Earl enjoyed working with his mules and was known to always have a story to tell.

Earl is survived by his brothers, Charles (Ella Mae) Amelunke and Perry (Jolene) Amelunke of Burfordville; two sisters, Ruby Needham and Kathy Bellew of Fredericktown, Missouri; one brother in-law, Jerry Hester; one sister in-law, Carolyn Amelunke; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Bob Amelunke, and one sister, Nancy Hester.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral Service will be held at noon Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark Boettcher officiating. Interment will take place in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jackson.
