E. RAY BAUGHN

MARBLE HILL -- E. Ray Baughn, 72, of Marble Hill, died Saturday, March 19, 1994, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He was born March 8, 1922, in McClean County, Ky., son of Girtie P. and Lydia Martin Baughn. He and Betty Jean Little were married March 12, 1958. She died Dec. 2, 1986.

Baughn was a retired paint contractor. He was a member of VFW Post 5900 at Marble Hill. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II.

Survivors include three sons, Neil Hutchins Jr. and Michael Baughn of Marble Hill, James Baughn of Perryville; a daughter, Gail Nelson of Henderson, Ky.; a sister, Mary Brown of Evansville, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
