SIKESTON -- E. Earl Crader, 89, of Memphis, Tenn., died Tuesday, Dec. 3, 1991, at Baptist Hospital East in Memphis.
Crader graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in 1928, and received a doctorate from George Peabody College in Nashville, Tenn., in 1952.
He was superintendent of schools in Diehlstadt from 1928-52, and served as president of Southeast Missouri Teachers Association in 1942-43.
Crader was professor of education and chairman of the Department of Administration Supervision at Memphis State University from 1952-72. He served as executive secretary of West Tennessee Teachers Association from 1959-86.
Survivors include his wife, Luda; two sons, Ronald Crader of Sikeston, Donald Crader of Germantown, Tenn.; a sister, Geraldine Bohannon of Bloomington, Ind.; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Memphis Funeral Home's Poplar Chapel. Burial will be in Memory Hill Gardens.
