CHAFFEE -- Funeral service for Dwight David Gibbons of Pasadena, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Revs. William Marshall and Earl Fish will officiate, with burial in Kenyon Cemetery at Delta.

Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. Saturday.

Gibbons, 54, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 1997, at his home. He was formerly of Chaffee.

He was born May 12, 1942, in Cape Girardeau, son of Claude H. and Colleen Fish Gibbons. He and Pamela Kay Myers were married July 1, 1961.

Gibbons was formerly a forklift operator at C&D Warehouse Inc. in Houston, Texas.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Jeffrey Gibbons of Houston; a daughter, Kimberly Gibbons of Houston; his mother of Chaffee; two sisters, Darla Gibbonsmeyers of St. Charles, Sandy Strong of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.
