He was born March 28, 1997, in St. Louis, son of Gayle and Leslie Hosey Rettig Jr. of Sikeston.

Survivors include his parents; maternal grandparents, Gene and Pat Hosey of Sikeston; paternal grandfather, Gayle Rettig Sr. of Sikeston; maternal great-grandmothers, Faye Douglas of St. Louis and Virgie Hosey of Sikeston; and paternal great-grandparents, LaVerne and Delores Rettig of Sikeston.
