PERRYVILLE -- Dr. Henry E. Lestmann, 71, of Perryville, died Saturday, April 30, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 21, 1923, in San Bernardino, Calif., son of Henry Emil and Bessie C. Walker Lestmann. He and Dorothy A. Pryor were married Aug. 10, 1947, in Pasadena, Calif.
Lestmann was a 1949 graduate of the University of Southern California Medical School. He had a family practice in Southern California from 1953-71, practiced in Doniphan from 1971-86, in Perry County from 1986-89, and in Ste. Genevieve from 1989-91.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Phillip Lestmann of Dayton, Tenn.; two daughters, Marcia Sandberg of Alhambra, Calif., Dana Jenkins of Steelville, and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Ronald Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
