Doyle Leslie Perr, 72, of Scott City died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2020, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 11, 1947, in Cape Girardeau to Henry Ernest and Edith Jane Welsh Perr.
He worked maintenance for Rhodes City Truck Stop. He was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City and was a longtime member of the Scott City Kiwanis Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Armella Glastetter of Scott City; brothers, Howard (Debbie) Perr of Scott City and Mark (Penny) Perr of St. Louis; and sisters, Jane Perr of West Frankfort, Illinois, Lois (Jim) Buie of Mitchell, Indiana, and Martha (Phillip) Mayville of Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Eisleben Lutheran Church in Scott City.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial, with full military honors, will be in the church cemetery.
