ZALMA -- Doyle Hartford Stilts, 58, Zalma Route 2, died Thursday, July 4, 1991, at his home.
He was born Aug. 1, 1932, at Arab, son of Hartford and Effie Burns Stilts. He first married Dorothy Hisaw in 1951.
Stilts was a farmer, and member of Zalma Masonic Lodge 545, Mingo Saddle Club, and Puxico Country Squares.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy, whom he married Feb. 1, 1980. Also surviving is a son, Michael Stilts of St. Charles; two daughters, Karen Lundmack of Houston, Texas, Judy Fulton of Lake Park, Fla.; a stepson, Bob Wyant of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Linda Marty of Lebanon, Mo.; a brother, Floyd Stilts of Fenton; two sisters, Hester Joseph of Bridgeton, Linda Wiseman of Puxico; five grandchildren, and four stepgrandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The Rev. Bill Sargent will officiate, with burial in New Hope McGee Cemetery.
