DEXTER -- Doyle Thomas Clark, 59, of Dexter died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
He was born Feb. 22, 1940, in Harrisburg, Ark., son of Houston and Lottie Armstrong Clark. He and Joyce Elaine Williamson were married Sept. 20, 1985, at Bell City.
Clark was a graduate of Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
He was a parts salesman at the Truck Center in Sikeston. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeff Clark of Dexter, John Clark of Kennett; a stepson, Gene Williamson of Cape Girardeau; a stepdaughter, Emelia Underwood of Dexter; and his mother of Bloomfield.
Also surviving are five sisters, Wanda Whittenberg of Aurora, Colo., Louise Boyles and Kathy Bowling of Bloomfield, Sue Byrd of Judsonia, Ark., Sandra Beckman of Newburgh, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Phil Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Sadler Chapel Cemetery.
