Douglas Ray Schreiner, 60, of Jackson passed away Thursday, Sept. 10, 2020, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 9, 1959, in Cape Girardeau to Ray and Lillian Scholl Schreiner. He and Lynn Burns were married Jan. 4, 2015, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Doug was a longtime active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown, Missouri. He joined St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson in 2014 and served as an usher.

Doug established Perryville (Missouri) Overhead Door in 1992 and retired in March 2020. He served on the Perryville Development Corp. and the board of directors of First State Community Bank in Perryville.

Loving survivors include his wife of five years, Lynn Schreiner of Jackson; children, Brent (Kelly) Schreiner, and children, Rylie, Zachary and Camdyn of Leopold, Missouri, Deanna Schreiner, and children, Adyson and Landon Clinard of St. Charles, Missouri, and Mandie (Brent) Presser, and daughter, Joanie of Jackson; mother, Lillian (the late Ray) Schreiner of Old Appleton; siblings, Deborah (Bruce) Schnurbusch of New Wells and Thomas (Linda) Schreiner of Oak Ridge; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Joan Burns, and brothers-in-law, Victor (Carolyn) Burns and Todd (Teresa) Burns, all of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his father.

All services are private. Therefore, rather than gifts, flowers or plants, the family especially appreciates memorial contributions to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 223 W. Adams St., Jackson, MO 63755, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.

Arrangements are by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
