EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- Doshea Jacobs Tully, 93, of 16594 US-12, Union, Mich., formerly of McClure, Ill., passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at 12:18 a.m., at the home of her daughter, Eileen Miller of Union. EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- Doshea Jacobs Tully, 93, of 16594 US-12, Union, Mich., formerly of McClure, Ill., passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at 12:18 a.m., at the home of her daughter, Eileen Miller of Union. Doshea was born Jan. 3, 1911, in McClure, the daughter of the late Hosea and Maude Smith Hooker.

Doshea was married in 1931 to William Clarence Jacobs, who passed in 1955. She then married Chesley Tully in 1956, who passed in 1969. Surviving are four daughters, Etha (Rob) Rouse and Judy Munn, both of Columbus, Ga., Eileen Miller of Union and Betsy (James) Crawford of Fort Worth, Texas; five sons, Gene (Sharon) Jacobs of Jupiter, Fla., Jack (Nancy) Jacobs of Monon, Ind., James (Beverly) Jacobs of Fort Worth, Dale (Midge) Jacobs of Buchanan, Mich., and Jerry (Judy) Jacobs of Edwardsburg; two stepdaughters, Ruth Glaab of Anna, Ill., and Bonnie Costin of Crawfordsville, Ind.; 30 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She had one son who passed, John Riley Jacobs, and seven brothers and sisters.

Friends may call Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. in the Edwardsburg United Methodist Pentecostal Church, where the service will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the church, where friends may call for two hours before the services. Officiating will be the Rev. Robert Geans, pastor. Burial will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. (Central time) at Lindsey Cemetery in McClure.

Arrangements are by Paul E. Mayhew Funeral Home in Edwardsburg.
