DOROTHY WOODWARD

Dorothy M. Woodward, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born June 2, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Alvin and Bertha Siebert Hoffmeister. She and William D. Woodward were married June 17, 1943. He died Feb. 13, 1954. She later married Weldon C. Emmons Nov. 19, 1960...

Dorothy M. Woodward, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 2, 1923, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Alvin and Bertha Siebert Hoffmeister. She and William D. Woodward were married June 17, 1943. He died Feb. 13, 1954. She later married Weldon C. Emmons Nov. 19, 1960.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Glueck of Cape Girardeau; her mother of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Leonard Hoffmeister of Jackson, Bill Hoffmeister of Cape Girardeau; a sister, JoAnn Emmons of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
