DOROTHY WOOD

Dorothy S. Wood, 76, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, June 4, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 29, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Harvey and Irene Hill Seabaugh. She and Tom Wood were married Aug. 9, 1936, in Cape Girardeau. He died Jan. 21, 1988.

Wood was reared in Cape Girardeau and attended Bethany Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Tom Wood Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Ed Wood of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Janet Klenn of Doniphan, Carol Wood of Orlando, Cindy Huffman of Whitewater; two sisters, Midge Miget and Grace Dolle of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, a brother, and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
