CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Dorothy Lee Wolfe, 90, of Chaffee passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2018, at Chateau Girardeau in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 21, 1928, in Delta to the late Wallace and Nettie Montgomery Mansker. She married Alfred "Tom" Ernest Wolfe on May 21, 1946, and he survives of the home.
Dorothy was a retired librarian for Chaffee Public Library. She also worked as a clerk for Whitakers-Ace Hardware in Chaffee. She was a church secretary and member of First United Methodist Church in Chaffee.
Dorothy was a member of Chaffee Ladies Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 3127 and Cape Girardeau Disable American Veterans Auxiliary, Chapter 16.
She is survived by her loving husband; a son, David Wolfe of Noble, Louisiana; two daughters, Linda (Harold) Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau and Janet (Bill) Raber of Attalla, Alabama; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Chaffee.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Gwen Streeter officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
