COBDEN, Ill. -- Dorothy L. Williams, 76, of Cobden died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Dogwalk, Ill., daughter of George and Bertha Fulkerson Smith. She and Paul L. Williams were married Sept. 24, 1945, in St. Louis...

COBDEN, Ill. -- Dorothy L. Williams, 76, of Cobden died Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Dogwalk, Ill., daughter of George and Bertha Fulkerson Smith. She and Paul L. Williams were married Sept. 24, 1945, in St. Louis.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Paula Williams of Gary, Ind., Cindy Albrecht of Jackson, Mo.; two sons, Brian Williams of Cape Girardeau, Mark Williams of Phoenix, Ariz.; two sisters, Ginny Gelman of Carbondale, Ill., Mary of Massachusetts; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
