WARE, Ill. -- Dorothy Mae Treece, 74, of Ware died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at Jonesboro Rehab and Healthcare in Jonesboro, Ill.
She was born Aug. 23, 1938, in Anna, Ill., daughter of Clyde and Bertha Ayers Treece.
Dorothy was owner and operator of Von Dot Restaurant for more than 20 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Vonda (Steve) Benefield of Anna; two grandchildren, Skylar and Brayden Benefield; two sisters, Doris Rumfelt of Jonesboro and Opal Glasco of Marion, Ill.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Jim, Joe and Junior Treece; and two sisters, Mary and Martha.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Anna City Cemetery, with the Rev. Davy Miller officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
