DOROTHY MAE MIRGEAUX

Dorothy Mae Mirgeaux, 73, 711 Normal Ave., died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1993 at Oak Hills Hospital in Joplin.

She was born Sept. 24, 1919 in California, the daughter of Bill and Ann Dirickson.

She and Joseph L. Mirgeaux were married in St. Louis on March 1, 1937. He survives.

She was a member of the St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary and the St. Vincent DePaul Council of Catholic Women.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons, J. Michael, Louisville, Ky., and Thomas, Stephan, Jeffrey and Christopher Mirgeaux, all of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Judy Langevin, Joplin, Alive Duvall, Broken Arrow, Okla., Dorothy Slankard, Steelville; one brother, Wade Dirickson, Winton, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, one sister and two brothers.

Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at the Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel with parish prayers at 7 p.m. followed by a parish rosary.

Funeral mass will be held at St. Vincent DePaul Church Monday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Lause officiating. Eulogy by Dr. Eugene Langevin.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
