ORAN -- Dorothy Mae Miller, 86, of Oran Route 1 died Friday, Aug. 1, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Feb. 3, 1911, at Sikeston, daughter of Tom and Ida Mae Henson Moran.
She was a retired nurse, having worked at the Sikeston hospital.
She was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran and the St. Ann Sodality.
She married Andrew C. Miller in 1945.
She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Jean Williams of Morrilton, Ark.; a sister, Betty Hessling of St. Charles; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, a sister and a great-grandson.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will be recited at 7.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church.
The Rev. Lewis Hejna will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.
