Dorothy Mae Haselbauer, 91, of Neelys Landing passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She resided at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau for over six years.
She was born Dec. 12, 1926, the daughter of W. Henry and Elzenia Reynolds Schenimann. She married George Elliott Haselbauer, and he preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1958.
Loving survivors include a sister, Joyce (Eldor "Pete") Bruss of Barnhart, Missouri, and two nieces and a nephew, Jeannine (Tom) Pilliard, Clarice (Barry) Sage and Mark (Brenda) Bruss.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Kent Bruss.
Dorothy was a graduate of Jackson High School and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Jackson. She was co-owner of the Six Gold Indoor Archery Range in St. Louis and Fenton, Missouri. She later returned to the Cape Girardeau area and owned and operated the Six Gold Archery Range in Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Minor officiating. Interment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church of Jackson or Teen Challenge in Cape Girardeau.
