Dorothy Eugenia Halter, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, April 21, 2003, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Nov. 11, 1913, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward and Emma Lipp Nenninger. She and Ivo W. Halter were married Sept. 29, 1941.
Halter was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and its Council of Catholic Women, and a member of Church Women United.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mick Halter of Overland Park, Kan., David Halter of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Mary Schmalz of Georgetown, Colo., Cathy Vanderpool of Cape Girardeau, Patty Huber of Jackson; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary's Cathedral. Msgr. Richard Rolwing will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
