Dorothy C. Gummersheimer, 75, of Waterloo, Ill., died Thursday, April 2, 1998, at Canterbury Manor Nursing Center in Waterloo.
She was born April 13, 1922, in Columbia, Ill., daughter of Henry W. and Augusta D. Mueller Klamp. She married Victor M. Gummersheimer, who preceded her in death Jan. 30, 1990.
Gummersheimer was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Doris Rex of Waterloo; a son, Victor Gummersheimer of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Elvira Gummersheimer of Columbia, Ill.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo from 3-9 p.m. today, and Sunday from 8-11 a.m.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Church, with Pastor Jeff Groene officiating. Burial will be in Kolmer Memorial Cemetery at Waterloo.
