Dorothy Fornkohl, 57, of Bunker Route 2 died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at her home. She was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Jesse and Bessie Hahn Hand. She and August "Gus" Fornkohl were married Oct. 3, 1959, in Cape Girardeau. He died June 2, 1988...

Dorothy Fornkohl, 57, of Bunker Route 2 died Thursday, July 8, 1999, at her home.

She was born Dec. 11, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Jesse and Bessie Hahn Hand. She and August "Gus" Fornkohl were married Oct. 3, 1959, in Cape Girardeau. He died June 2, 1988.

Fornkohl was a 1959 graduate of Central High School. She was retired from Florsheim Shoe Co.

Survivors include a son, Kenneth Fornkohl of Bunker; two daughters, Cindy Nielsen of Leopold, Tammy Piatt of Salem; her mother of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Judy Walton of Tobyhanna, Pa., Joyce Keller of Edwardsville; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral will be Saturday, with burial in Thompson Cemetery at Egypt Mills.
