ANNA, Ill. -- Dorothy Elam Dillow, 84, of Anna died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born June 16, 1920, at Mount Pleasant, Ill., daughter of Charles and Grace B. Allen Elam. She and Roy G. "Rastus" Dillow were married May 28, 1939, in Jackson, Mo.
Dillow was a member of First Baptist Church in Anna and a lifetime member of the Townsend F. Dodd American Legion Auxiliary. She was a past Sunday school teacher and departmental superintendent of Sunday school at First Baptist Church. She worked at the Anna National Bank for 21 years until her retirement in 1980.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Vicki Jean of Natchitoches, La.; a son, Kip G. Dillow of Cobden, Ill.; a sister, Charlene Dillow of Anna; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Anna until the funeral hour.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Tim Sadler officiating. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.
