GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Dorothy Pauline Dickerson, 78, of Glenallen died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center following an auto accident in Bollinger County. She was born March 27, 1927 in Schlatitz, Mo., daughter of Robert H. and Ada Nevels Collins. She and Paul C. Dickerson were married April 24, 1950. He died Dec. 15, 1992. She and Roy Spenner were married Jan. 14, 2001...

GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Dorothy Pauline Dickerson, 78, of Glenallen died Friday, April 22, 2005, at Saint Francis Medical Center following an auto accident in Bollinger County.

She was born March 27, 1927 in Schlatitz, Mo., daughter of Robert H. and Ada Nevels Collins. She and Paul C. Dickerson were married April 24, 1950. He died Dec. 15, 1992. She and Roy Spenner were married Jan. 14, 2001.

Dickerson attended Marble Hill United Methodist Church at Marble Hill, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Paul D. Dickerson of Granite City, Ill., Clayton Dickerson of Grassy, Mo., Mike Spenner of Nashville, Ill.; four daughters, Donna Young of Granite City, Debra Stanley of Grassy, Cindy Murphy of Taylor Springs, Ill., Cathy Cook of Virginia Beach, Va.; a sister, Helen Cooper of Cahokia, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday. Funeral will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Kelpe officiating.

Friends may call at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Briar Cliff Pentecostal Church on Pontoon Road in Granite City, Ill. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Kenneth Lewis officiating.

Burial will be at 1 p.m. at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Belleville, Ill.
