DOROTHY DEEVERS

Dorothy Eileen Deevers, 71, 2168 Bend Road, died Monday, Feb. 3, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 11, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Glenn H. and Lorena Whitaker Deevers.

Deevers worked in housekeeping at Southeast Missouri State University for 18 years.

She was a 1943 graduate of Central High School, and attended Southeast University.

Survivors include two brothers, Jean Jerome and J.E. Deevers; and a sister, Glenda Eddleman, all of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. James Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
