ZALMA, Mo. -- Dorothy L. Bowman, 66, of Zalma died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 31, 1944, daughter of Leland and Dorothy Elizabeth Pratt. She first married Clyde Montgomery Sr., who died June 22, 1991. She then married Charles E. Bowman on March 12, 1994.
Mrs. Bowman was a registered nurse and had worked at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Advance, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, Charles; three sons, Wayne (Christy), Frankie (Crystal) and Louis Montgomery, all of Zalma; three daughters, Juanita Hendricks of House Springs, Mo., Bobbie (Bob) Price of Farmington, Mo., Paulette (Bob) Griffen of Fairdealing, Mo.; a daughter-in-law, Cherie Montgomery of Zalma; a brother, L.T. Pratt of St. Louis; a sister, Amy Farris of Cutler, Ill.; 21 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Clyde Montgomery Jr.; a daughter, Lucille Duncan; a brother, Frankie Pratt; four sisters, Louise Turner, Evelyn Newton, Frances Box and Sinda White.
There will be no service.
