Dorothy Lorraine Block, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 16, 1911 at St. Louis, Mo., daughter of William and Catherine Clementina Bauer Frank. She and Harry T. Block were married June 4, 1934 at St. Louis. He preceded her in death April 1973...

Dorothy Lorraine Block, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, June 8, 2002 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 16, 1911 at St. Louis, Mo., daughter of William and Catherine Clementina Bauer Frank. She and Harry T. Block were married June 4, 1934 at St. Louis. He preceded her in death April 1973.

Block was a homemaker and a Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Earl Norman of Cape Girardeau; two grandchildren, Eric Norman and his wife Sonya, Anne Norman; and two great grandchildren, Ethan and Conner Norman.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Marcus Cemetery in St. Louis. Earl Norman will officiate.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
