CHARLESTON -- Graveside service for Dorothy Allen of Charleston will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Rev. Rick White will officiate.
McMikle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Allen, 83, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1998, at Charleston Manor.
She was born May 20, 1915, in Bertrand, daughter of Claude Miller and Winnie Lee Tucker Drennan.
Allen had been a bookkeeper at Ford Tractor Co. and Brown Shoe Co. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and Katherine Boone Music Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Hey of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and a brother.
