DORIS M. GIBBAR

ST. LOUIS -- Doris M. Gibbar, 77, of St. Louis, formerly of Perryville, died April 26, 1995, in St. Louis.

She was born July 29, 1917, in Silver Lake, the daughter of Harry and Molly Lewis LaBrier. She married Earl V. Gibbar in 1934, and he preceded her in death July 31, 1988.

Gibbar was a retired licensed practical nurse. She was a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church in St. Louis.

Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Gibbar Borkowski of St. Louis; a son, Robert Lee Gibbar of St. Louis; a granddaughter; and three great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call today from 5 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. A parish wake service will be today at 7 p.m.

Funeral mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Silver Lake, with the Rev. Charles Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
