Doris Ruth Fehr, 76, of Scott City died Monday Aug. 2, 2004 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Mrs. Fehr was born Aug. 17,1927 in St. Louis, the daughter of Ervin and Pauline Haas Buescher.
She was a florist at the Town and Country Florist in Cape Girardeau and the Garden of Eden in Scott City. She was a member of the Evangelical United church of Christ in Cape Girardeau and the Hawthorne Garden Club.
She married Orville Herman Fehr June 13, 1948 in Cottleville, Mo. He died Nov. 11, 1986.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Earl and Marsha Fehr of Scott City, a daughter Vicki Hillman and fiancé, James Ward of Webster Groves, Mo., a brother Warren Buescher of St. Joseph; three granddaughters, Heather Ingvalson and Hailey Fehr, both of Scott City and Brandi Hillman of Webster Groves.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Randy Heckman officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
