DORIS BONE

Doris A. Bone, 54, of Mounds died Sunday March 30, 1997, at her home.

She was born on Nov. 19, 1942, in Mounds, the daughter of Lemmie and Mary Baker Beegle.

She was a nurse's aide in area nursing homes. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Mounds.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Ray Bone of Mounds; two daughters, Mary Bentley and Doris Bridgeman, both of Monticello, Ky., three sons, James and John Bone, both of Mound City, and Harold Bone of Mounds; a sister, Barbara Cruse of Cobden; two brothers, Jim Beegle of Mounds and Tom Beegle of Genoa, Ill., two stepdaughters, Linda Woodworth of Mounds and Alice Taylor of Mound City; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Barkett Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ernest Browning officiating. Interment will follow in Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds.
