Doretta Florence Hosea Brown, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Dec. 4, 1914, at Chaffee, Mo., daughter of Leo and Josephine Hoefler Tucker. She and Claud Henry Hosea were married Feb. 8, 1932, in Jackson. He died Sept. 4, 1959. She later married Robert E. Brown, who preceded her in death.
Brown had been a supervisor at Ely Walker Co. in Scott City.
Survivors include a son, Claud Hosea Jr. of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Patsy Gentry of Marion, Ill.; a sister, Teresa Halter of Chaffee; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles Lance officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
