SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Dora Ann Skelton of Aiken, S.C., formerly of Sikeston, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Jerry Reynolds will officiate, with burial in Sikeston City Cemetery.

Skelton, 70, died Monday, Feb. 13, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 6, 1924, in New Madrid County, daughter of Fred L. and Edal Jones Dunn. She and Lowell Skelton were married Aug. 21, 1943.

Skelton was a member of the Methodist Church in Marion, Ill.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters. Carla Galloway of Sioux City, Iowa, Linda Biggs of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Ethyl Tanner of Sikeston, and five grandchildren.
