Donnie Webster Seabaugh, 88, of Whitewater passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 3, 1929, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Amon and Dollie Smith Seabaugh. He and Wanda M. Gibbons were married Sept. 16, 1950, in Piggott, Arkansas. She passed away March 8, 2013.
Donnie served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After being honorably discharged, he worked construction and later at Proctor & Gamble, retiring in 1990. Donnie attended Whitewater Methodist Church.
Loving survivors include three sons, Michael (Becky) Seabaugh of Crump, Terry (Mona) Seabaugh of Fruitland and Joe Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Marilyn Seabaugh of Whitewater; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three siblings, Ruby Hester, John Seabaugh and Carolyn Gibbons.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Seabaugh; parents; three brothers, Alvin, Amon and Charlie Seabaugh; two sisters, Hazel Hastings and Betty Hicks; two infant sisters; and one infant brother.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Kuehle officiating. Interment will follow in Stroderville Cemetery near Whitewater.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Stroderville Cemetery.
