Donna Mae Ringwald, 69, of Jackson passed way Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
Donna and David Ringwald married Nov. 26, 1983.
She attended College High and graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in Cape Girardeau. She later graduated from Cape Cosmetology School.
Donna worked for Florsheim Shoe in Cape Girardeau for 16 years and 20 years at Procter & Gamble, retiring in 2003. She also had worked 10 years at the Golden Needle in Cape Girardeau.
Donna really enjoyed the outdoors, camping, riding horses and quilting.
Loving survivors include her husband of 35 years, David Ringwald; a son, Rick Whitaker of Jackson; mother-in-law, Verna Ringwald of Jackson; and four brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sharon (Bob) Reed of Gordonville; Brenda (Ken) Phelps, Ruth (Don) Seabaugh and Harold (Kathy) Ringwald, all of Jackson. Also surviving is her precious dog, Bear.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Paul Ringwald.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Samuel E. Roethemeyer officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
