Donna Keen

BENTON, Mo. -- Donna Ruth Keen, 81, of Benton passed away Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015, at her home.

She was born July 27, 1933, in Flint, Michigan, daughter of Vern and Ruby LaRose Painter Ray. She and Joseph C. Keen were married Feb. 7, 1949. He died May 5, 2011.

Donna was a member of Unity Baptist Church at Benton.

Survivors include two sons, Jason (Leigh Ann) Keen of Benton, Joseph (Sherri) Keen of Rogers, Arkansas; two daughters, Donna Sue (Bill) Chism and Judith (Arthur) Pierce of Burton, Michigan; four brothers, Leroy and Jerry Ray of Burton, Bruce Ray of Wisconsin, Verlin Ray of Flint; three sisters, Shirley Comstock and Elaine Lee of Flint, Barbara Wilson of Burton; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Joann Price and Cheryl Thomas; a grandson, Jeremy Price; three brothers; and four sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Unity Baptist Church.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
