Donna Gilliland

MORLEY, Mo. -- Donna Jean Gilliland, 71, of Morley passed away Monday, Sept. 24, 2018, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 22, 1947, in Perkins, Missouri, to Richard and Juanita Elfrank Irwin. She and Hank Gilliland were married April 10, 2010, and he survives of the home.

Donna was a retired licensed practical nurse for Chaffee General Hospital. She was a member of Morley Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hank Gilliland; two sons, Larry (Cindy) Chasteen of Oran, Missouri, and Todd (Amanda) Irwin of Franklin, Indiana; a daughter, Lezli (David) Lincoln of Marble Hill, Missouri; mother, Juanita Irwin of Perkins; two brothers, Rick (Brenda) Irwin of Cape Girardeau and Derrick (Rosie) Irwin of Oran; a sister, Cindy (Mark) Sutherland of Gainesville, Florida; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with two great-grandchildren on the way; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Irwin.

Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
