MCCLURE, Ill. -- Donald Delano Trowbridge, 79, of McClure died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 8, 1933, in Homestead, Okla., to Donald and Alma Trowbridge. Donald served in the U.S. Army National Guard in Korea and was a member of the Cape Girardeau VFW Post 3838.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, of McClure; two sons; six daughters; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several step-grandchildren; buddies, Nadine and Fluff.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, a son and an infant daughter.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg St. Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
