DONALD STRAUSER

Funeral for Donald Strauser of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Revs. Donny Ford and S.S. Borum will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the chapel from 9-11 a.m. Thursday.

Strauser, 85, died Monday, March 1, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born April 2, 1913, in Stoddard County, son of Frank and Nettie Rampley Strauser. He and Evelyn Loyd were married June 3, 1943, in Jackson.

Strauser had worked at Missouri Utilities Co., retiring in 1975.

He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, David Strauser of Jackson; a daughter, Donna Frazier of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mary Wilson of Dexter; and a grandchild.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
