ALTO PASS, Ill. -- Donald Ray Sadler, 62, of Alto Pass died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2001, at his home.

He was born Sept. 8, 1939, at Chaffee, Mo., son of Ira and Edna Sadler. He and Sandra "Jane" Newberry were married Aug. 19, 2000, at Marble Hill, Mo.

Sadler was a maintenance man at LeeRowan Rubbermaid Co. in Jackson, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy Sadler of Scott City, Mo., and Larry Joe Sadler of Advance, Mo.; a daughter, Donna Brown of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Lee Sadler and Jackie Sadler, both of Chaffee; three sisters, Anna Mae Nanny and Stella Steger, both of Chaffee, and Janet Totty of Rockview, Mo.; three stepsons, Richard Newberry, David Newberry and Tim Newberry, all of Carbondale, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Shelly Newberry of Carbondale; 10 grandchildren; and 10 grandstepchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden, Ill., after 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home. The Rev. Paul Sadler will officiate, with burial in the Cobden Cemetery.
